ABOUT MODEL, TRANSFORMATION AND REFRAMING

Stefan Heizinger was born in 1975 at Linz, Upperaustria. From 1994 to 2000 he studied at the university Mozarteum in the class for painting. In his work he deals with found footage, be it digital pictures, objects, templates of other artists or historical sources. His artificial focus lies on figurative images, full of references, and their contextual, spatial staging. The artist works in Salzburg and Vienna, Austria.
